Alt-folk duo Ollie Back and Sam on the fiddle, formed for a gig on New Years Eve 2018 -
both experienced live performers, have been combining their musical skills and vocal tones
at venues across the South West.
Ollie has been working as a solo artist and Sam has played with bands around the UK at festivals, theatres and arts centres. They have been developing sets suitable for rural and family pubs to work on their sound and arrangements. This has gone down very well, they have been re-booked to play again at most venues
they have played more than 80 gigs together from Cheddar, to Bournemouth, to Swindon and in-between,
including Summer Solstice at Stonehenge, Home Farm Fest, Sherborne Summer Festival,
Somerton Music & Arts Fest, HoneyFest, Bridport Folk Fest, Bourton Bash, a WI group meeting,
beer festivals, restaurants, gardens, pubs, fundraising fetes, wedding ceremonies & receptions
and live radio performances on Abbey104 & BBC Radio Somerset.
Ollie & Sam also work on original songs, and sets suitable for folk clubs and music festivals.
Optional hand drum, bass or keyboards
for a fuller more driving sound suitable for larger events.
